Hose Reel
The Grout Hose Reel Assembly is designed to provide a means for suppling air pressure and grout solutions to the packer. The assembly consists of a reel containing 500 feet of color-coded, multi-line hose and the necessary fittings to connect the hoses to the reel and the grouting packer. The reel is mounted in a sturdy steel and aluminum frame, finished with an industrial grade powder coating. The assembly is equipped with a five-port rotary fluid union and an electrically powered rewind motor and transmission.
MULTI-LINE HOSE:
The multi-line hose assembly is constructed of five color-coded hoses (other options available). The outer two hoses are 1/2" ID for the grouting chemicals and the three inner hoses are 3/8" ID for compressed air, water or vacuum.
All hose end fittings are stainless steel with gender specific quick release connectors to eliminate cross contamination. In addition, at the packer end, each chemical hose and the joint test hose is equipped with a stainless steel check valve.
ROTARY FLUID UNION:
The grout hose reel assembly is equipped with a single-end, five port, stainless steel, inboard, rotary fluid union that permits the air and chemicals to be passed through the reel while the hose is being paid-out or rewound. The end of the coupling has easily accessible clean-out ports. Maximum hydraulic working pressure of the union is 5000 PSI.
REWIND ASSEMBLY:
An electric, variable speed rewind unit is installed on the hose reel assembly. The unit consists of a 0.5 HP (372W) PM motor, with an electronically shifted multi-ratio transmission (7:1 through 2:1 and Neutral) and chain drive.
EZ FLUSH SYSTEM:
The EZ FLUSH system allows the operator to flush out the entire grouting system (except grout tanks) with fresh water, minimizing spillage inside the vehicle, while recovering the unused grout solution to the grout tanks for future use or proper disposal.
